This is the official website for the Arramat ( ⴰⵔⵔⴰⵎⴰⵜ) Project. This project supports over 100 Indigenous-led research initiatives (2021–2027) that strengthen the connection between biodiversity and community well-being. Funded by Canada’s New Frontiers in Research Fund, the Ărramăt Project works with Indigenous partners around the world to document knowledge, uphold rights like Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC), and drive change for healthier communities and ecosystems.
