The Conservation through Reconciliation Partnership and co-host West Coast Environmental Law launched a Legal Innovations Webinar Series with the dialogue, ”Indigenous and Natural Law: Foundations of IPCAs”. This conversation featured Elder Albert Marshall (CRP Elder’s Lodge), Lisa Young (Unama’ki Institute for Natural Resources—UINR—and CRP Leadership Circle), Clifford Paul (UINR), and Tuma Young (Indigenous Law Institute, Cape Breton University). They covered foundational concepts in Indigenous and Natural law and discussed their application in the Mi’kmaq Moose Management Initiative in Mi’kmaki/Nova Scotia.
