Creation of a 24,000 ha Indigenous Protected and Conserved Area | Arqvilliit (Ottawa Islands)
The community of Inukjuak Nunavik has a goal of creating a 24,000 ha IPCA for Arqvilliit (Ottawa Islands). This IPCA is supported by the Government of Canada and will provide protection for habitats of species at risk that are significant to the Inuit.
