The Indigenous Circle of Experts (ICE) developed a report describing the concept of Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs) in Canada with recommendations on how IPCAs can contribute to Target 1 while advancing the conservation and other community priorities of Indigenous governments to care for the land and water for generations to come.
