
This summary report builds the case for investing in structured, long-term training systems for Indigenous Guardians. Drawing from four in-depth research reports, it provides a strong evidence base to support decision-making and advocacy by B.C.-based Senior Advisors to the Indigenous Leadership Initiative (ILI). The report highlights the essential and growing role of Indigenous Guardians across Canada and calls for sustained investment in building the knowledge, skills, and systems needed to strengthen Indigenous stewardship for generations to come.
