This film consists of footage that was taken over a period of seven winters in the Arctic and allows for its’ audience to experience the world of the Inuit of Belcher Islands located in the Hudson Bay, Canada. The film depicts the significance of, and relationship with, the eider duck. The eider duck provides the Inuit with eider down which is the warmest feather on the globe – it is a necessity and the key to survival during the cold and harsh Arctic winters.
