Tracking Change is a research initiative funded by the Social Sciences Humanities Research Council of Canada and led by the University of Alberta, the Traditional Knowledge Steering Committee of the Mackenzie River Basin Board, the Government of the Northwest Territories, and many other valued partner organizations.

Protecting the North French River

The North French River is one of the most pristine, untouched waterways in Ontario. In comparison with other rivers within the Moose Cree Homelands, it has not been significantly impacted by industry. The plan is to develop a framework to protect and enhance the cultural and landscape features of the watershed.
