This 16-minute video is a documentary that features the bottom-up approach of establishing the Salween Peace Park Governing Body, which is composed of 106 members for General Assembly and 11 members of Governing Committee in Burma. The SPP is the largest indigenous persons conserved areas in Burma- it is located in Mutraw District, Karen State, Kawthoolei in South Eastern Burma/Myanmar. The video shoes the people of the Salween Peace Park who live on and steward the land, and discusses the important developments of establishing the park and its governing practices.
