The Conservation through Reconciliation Partnership (CRP) co-presented a webinar hosted by Canadian Parks Collective for Innovation and Leadership (CPCIL), a CRP partner organization, with the Assembly of First Nations (AFN) and Environment and Climate Change Canada- the Canadian Wildlife Service. The webinar showcased the collaborative work being done through the AFN IPCA Working Group, the CRP, and the Pathway to Target 1 (including through its the Pathway IPCA working group), and how these three initiatives–in concert with others–are supporting efforts to meet Canada’s international conservation targets and advancing Indigenous leadership in conservation. Danika Littlechild, Steven Nitah, and Lisa Young contributed insights on ethical space and their experiences advancing IPCAs to date.
