This press release highlights a partnership between the Ross River Dena Council, the Government of Yukon, and Parks Canada to assess the feasibility of creating a national park reserve and Indigenous Protected and Conserved Area (IPCA) in the Ross River region (Yukon). A feasibility study will assess options that honour Indigenous rights, protect biodiversity, and balance cultural and economic values.
