This Powerpoint Presentation by Joe Copper Jack, traditional knowledge holder and elder, describes Land and Peoples Relationship Model. Land and Peoples Relationship Model is a Collaborative knowledge-building process that respects both Yukon First Nations’ Long-Ago Peoples’ Way & Western knowledge. It uses 3 key laws (Respect, Care, and Share), two decision-making tools (No Voice and Knowledge Stream Tree) that include affected parties’ viewpoints and long-ago knowledge principles. The model directs, balances and frames the collaborative planning process, while the crux of the model is how respect is shown.
