This report is based on an initiative by the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) and Dr. Reg Crowshoe, the intent of which was to create a learning kit for youth. This second iteration of that report (or book) was refocused to address ways that the regulator can meaningfully engage with Indigenous communities, and to compare Indigenous and Western dispute resolution processes to find out how they can best complement one another. Key sections include Indigenous Oral Systems (pg. 6), Linkages – Ethical Spaces (pg. 12), and Indigenous Decision-Making Circles (pg. 19).
